The concept of Bula Café integrates more than just the pursue of brewing the best speciality coffee and serving amazing healthy food with a smile. We want to create a unique space where we get to inspire you through every detail. We have mainly two streams where we pour our creativity and art, Bula Groove Blend Ministry (our original music) and Bula Quote Roast Ministry (our own wellness philosophy).
Music Made With Our Coffee Beans
The ambient music you listen at bula cafe is something crafted very carefully and very unique. Carrying out a crazy idea by Pablo Samonta, the music composer of the house, we came up with all sorts of sounds and home-made instruments created from coffee beans and our coffee shop utensils, then we sampled them in the studio to make music!
With those professionally recorded sounds and unconventional Instruments with beans, we made the unique background music you can listen in our coffee store and in most music streaming platforms as well under the name Bula Groove Blend Ministry!

The Idea.
Composer and producer Pablo Samonta has captured the character and harmonic essence of our coffee beans In numerous recording sessions in collaboration with AXYOMA audio and the Hypotenuza Studio in Barcelona.
The unique instruments made exclusively for the cause and the creative combinations of new sound textures emerge and blend together into something exquisite and special. An experiment that seeks a new approach linking coffee art with coffee shop music in a way that has never been done before.

Bean There , Done That.
Bula Groove Blend Ministry is the result of an artistic pursue by composer and producer Pablo Samonta that pretends to create unique beat ambient music specifically for the atmosphere of Bula Café. The idea begins by creating a set of original home-made instruments and sounds from the pure organic sound of coffee beans and their mechanic interaction with other coffee related elements (mostly).
A set of over 12 home-made percussion and harmonic instruments where created with the purpose of recording the audio samples and music tracks for BGBM's first releases.
Through techniques of audio processing and audio manipulation, other artificial sounds are obtained from the pure coffee bean instrument recordings for the purpose of expanding the sound pallet and creating even more interesting sound textures.
